2013 Family-Friendly Halloween Events in Connecticut

CLICK HERE FOR OUR COMPLETE LISTING OF 2013 FAMILY-FRIENDLY HALLOWEEN EVENTS. Read on for more detail about our featured events.

It’s no secret that Mandy and I loooove holidays, especially those that come with craft projects, parties, and a long list of special events for the whole family. And Halloween is the one time of year when both parents and their kids get to act like children. Wearing silly costumes, indulging in sweet treats, and looking out for all the ghosts, goblins, and witches. This year we found so many family-friendly Halloween treats that we decided to highlight a few here in this post, but then provide you with a more complete list of events here. And since we cater to the preschool crowd (hey, all our kids are 3 and under!), we worked hard to find lots of great daytime activities with no potential for nightmares. You can be sure these events are all delight and no fright!

#1: Trick-or-Treating Alternatives: Not so keen on going door-to-door? Bring a pumpkin decorated as your favorite book character, listen to stories and songs about Halloween and then trick or treat around the library. Registration is required.
