In just a few weeks, Thomas the Tank Engine™ is pulling into the station for a larger than life experience at ESSEX STEAM TRAIN for Day Out With Thomas™: The Go Go Thomas Tour 2013.  

This fun-filled event, beginning April 27 and running back-to-back weekends, offers little engineers and their families the opportunity to take a 25 minute ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friends™ series, meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities including arts & crafts, storytelling and more.

The tour, now in its 18th year, will make stops in more than 45 US cities and is expected to welcome nearly one million passengers in 2013.

  6. What an awesome giveaway! Our two little guys would LOVE to go! It would be a wonderful way to celebrate our youngest’s 1st birthday. Our oldest went last year (while I was in the maternity ward) and absolutely loved it. He loves Thomas, Percy (his favorite), James, Rocky and Flynn.
    It’s not in the budget for us this year, so winning the tickets would be fantastic.

  10. My two boys would love to see Thomas in person. My youngest doesn’t like to watch episodes of Thomas if Thomas isn’t in there.

  12. Essex Steam Train: My 2 1/2 year old son Josh is crazy for Thomas! We read a Thomas book every night and calls out everyone’s name and points to them (Percy, Emily, etc). He would love to see them all and ride a real train for the first time! So would his 4 1/2 year old sister!

  15. We love the “Essex Steam Train”!! We have been in it twice & try to go back every year!! My son, Logan still LOVES Thomas & my daughter Willow loves Thomas & Gordon. We were thinking of having them go this year with their Grandma & Papa, this would be Great!!! Thanks ladies!!

  58. My husband and I love the “Essex Steam Train” as we had dinner on the train years ago and had a great time! We are trying to adopt a little boy named Ethan who will turn 3 in April and he LOVES Thomas!!!! What a great birthday present this would be 🙂 It’s practically the only show he wants to watch.   60. My two and a half year old son’s favorite character is Thomas, it may be because that’s the only name he is willing to say but he insists on calling each train Thomas or Tommy! You can not tell him otherwise and everything is ‘choo choo Thomas’ as he says 🙂

  64. We love visiting the Essex Steam Train! We have been thwre twice, once for A Day Out With Thomas and also for The Polar Express. The events are well-planned for little ones and are easy to get to. My son’s favorite train is James, the big red “steamy” probably because his name is James too. He is hoping James will make an appearance this year! Great giveaway idea, thanks!

    Thomas would be my daughter’s favourite. She recently chose a dinner plate with Thomas on it. I tried to push the pink Minnie Mouse one but she chose the blue Thomas:)

  71. We’re a train loving family, especially one of my 2 year old twins, he keeps at least a couple of trains on the pillow when he takes a nap. Last year we did the polar express wich was a huge sucess!
