Touch-a-Truck season kicks off this weekend in Connecticut! This is such a fun time of year when car, truck and tractor loving kids can see and explore some of the coolest vehicles around. When we first started this blog over a decade ago, these events were just starting to be popular in Connecticut. Now they are popping up everywhere! Even better, many of these events now include fun extras (some for an additional fee and some included with admission) like food for sale, face painting, arts & crafts, kids’ activities, entertainment and more. Plus, most events now include a sensory-friendly “quiet time” during which visitors are asked not to honk vehicle horns or activate vehicle sirens (those things can be SO loud!). Be sure to bookmark this post so you can enjoy these unique events all season long!
