Moms Club Directory

A moms club can be a wonderful resource for any mom. Because of that, one of our goals is to try to build a list of active Connecticut moms clubs so that our CT moms can find one in their area and get involved. Our list is small now, but we are working to grow it and hope that you will help us. Please send us information on the moms club in your area by emailing us at outandaboutmommandy@gmail.com. Check out the Moms Club International Connecticut Chapter’s link for a great listing of moms clubs across the state.

We have also started to expand this list by including other resources for parents, like local family resource centers which may also offer support groups and social activities.

Andover

  • MOMS Club of Hebron, Andover and Columbia CT – The MOMS Club® is here to support YOU! Founded in January 2002, The MOMS Club of Hebron, CT thrives among three rural towns. We support our full time and part time stay at home moms through activities based in and around the towns of Hebron, Andover and Columbia. Our activities and committees are run solely by members. We encourage our moms to share their talents, participate in committees, and host events as it strengthens the spirit of the Club. We are registered with and operate under the MOMS Club International bylaws. The MOMS Club is a non-profit, non-denominational organization.
  • AHM Youth and Family Services – AHM serves the Andover, Hebron and Marlborough areas and offers play and learn groups, parenting workshops and lectures, mental health support, resources for families with special needs, and more.

Avon

  • Mothers’ Connection of the Farmington Valley – They are a volunteer network of moms who plan outings for themselves and other parents with young children and infants. They offer a variety of activities each month along with playgroups.  Additionally, they offer mom’s night out, discussion groups, book groups, and opportunities to serve on the Board or various committees.   • Valley MOPS – MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and that means moms who have children age infant to five years old; expectant mommies are welcome too! MOPS is a place where you can connect, learn and belong. You’ll have the opportunity to do life with other women that speak your language in a community that is accepting and diverse. At Valley MOPS, we are moms from all walks of life, living in cities all over the Farmington Valley and beyond. The meetings are held at Valley Community Baptist Church on West Avon Road in Avon.

Bolton

  • The MOMS Club of Vernon and Bolton is open to all moms and their children. They offer support, friendship, and fun activities for local moms and their children.  MOMS Club (MOMS Offering Moms Support) is an international nonprofit organization with more than 2,000 chapters across the country. Burlington

We have a monthly calendar with playgroups. We also plan social events for moms and their families and we host Moms Night Outs. We offer support to members through programs that provide meals for new mothers. We stay connected through a members-only website, where we keep a calendar of club and community events, a classifieds section for selling and trading kids stuff, and a discussion board where you can get advice and recommendations on local services.   • MOMS Club of Central CT (Serving Newington, Rocky Hill, and Cromwell) – A support group for stay-at-home moms and part-time working moms living in Newington, Rocky Hill, and Cromwell. We plan activities like park meet-ups, playgroups, moms’ night out, and more. Join us!

East Haddam

  • MOMS Club of Moodus – A support group for other moms, stay-at-home and working moms in East Haddam and its villages of Moodus, Millington, Leesville, Hadlyme, and Little Haddam.

East Hartford

  • MOMS Club of Manchester and East Hartford – A wonderful way to meet other at-home moms who share your interests and concerns. They include mothers of all ages, as well as those who work out of their homes or work part-time.

  • Glastonbury Newcomers’ and Neighbors’ Club  (GNN) is a non-profit social organization dedicated to providing an environment where families can develop friendships and enjoy our many activities. GNN has play groups for members that meet weekly at a members’ home or park where parents and children enjoy social interaction. Each month GNN plans outings for the children such as: apple and pumpkin picking, hay rides, pizza making, cupcake decorating, gym dates, art class, fire station tours, karate class, library story hour, pottery decorating, scavenger hunt. The Club also has events for the entire family, which include: Halloween bonfire, outdoor movie night, ice skating/pizza party, holiday party and Easter egg hunt, picnic, pool party. GNN has activities that work for both stay at home moms/dads as well as working parents.

  • MOMS Club of Norwich is a chapter of MOMS Club®, an international nonprofit organization aimed at providing support for mothers who have chosen to be the primary caregiver of their children. Their chapter was formed in 2001, but is one of over 40 in Connecticut! The Norwich chapter covers the towns of Norwich, Lisbon, Griswold, Jewett City, Bozrah, Uncasville, Franklin, Versailles, Preston, & Baltic.

Portland

  • Moms Club of Portland and Middletown – A group of local moms with children of all ages who have come together to offer one another support, resources, and friendship.   As a nonprofit organization, they also coordinate community fundraisers.

Rocky Hill
