We can help you promote your venue or upcoming event through a giveaway on our site. These are very popular on our site! Please try to allow at least one month prior notice if this giveaway is for a specific event date. Giveaways are posted on our blog and also shared via social media and our email blasts. The cost for us to host, manage and promote your giveaway is $100.*
The specific content of each giveaway post is tailored to fit the needs of our promotional partner, but you can find a few different examples of our giveaways here, here, here & here.
In order for us to host a giveaway on our site, you would need to provide us with pictures of the event or venue and details which we could use to promote it in a post. We will then put together a post for you and run and promote the giveaway over a one-week period. We will pick the winner and then you will be responsible for providing them with the event tickets or venue access. Please see our complete Giveaways policy below:
Rules and restrictions:
1. We run all our giveaways on our blog, though we do share them across our social media platforms and promote them via eblast to our email subscribers.
2. We use the Rafflecopter tool.
3. Readers are not required to do anything other than submit their information in the Rafflecopter in order to enter the giveaway.
4. We do not collect or share any personal information about our readers.
5. We only give away a minimum of 4 tickets (a “family four pack”) because most of our readers are families.
6. We do not handle prize fulfillment (We will provide you with the winner’s email contact information to arrange for delivery of prize.)
7. Value of the prize cannot exceed $500.
Assets and info we need are:
1. Any promotional materials (photos, press release, etc.)
2. Any custom URL you’d like us to use for linking to where readers can buy tickets, etc.
3. Date/time info for tickets that are being given away. (When possible, we request morning or afternoon times because they appeal to a broader range of our families with young children.)
4. We need to be aware of any special restrictions on the tickets.
5. Please tell us how the winner will receive their tickets (will call, email, etc.).
