Nova Indoor Adventure Park

In our town, elementary school kids have early dismissal every Wednesday in the fall and spring seasons. They call it “Wacky Wednesday,” and I’m convinced that’s because–even after 10 years as an elementary school parent in this town–I still get caught off guard just about every week when I remember that I have two fewer hours to get things accomplished on Wednesdays. Something tells me I am not alone 😉

On the plus side, these short school days offer a perfect opportunity to fit in a special outing or activity for just me and Little Miss before all those extracurricular activities (that begin after normal dismissal time) take over the rest of our afternoon/evening.

So a few Wednesdays ago, we decided to check out this new(-ish; it opened back in Summer of 2025) indoor adventure park I’d heard about out in East Hartford.

Source: Google Maps

Nova is located off Silver Lane within the Charter Oak Mall shopping plaza.

There is a large parking lot right in front of the building.

Once inside, you’ll need to head to the computers up front to fill out a waiver if you haven’t done so already online. Then purchase your jump tickets at the counter (or you can purchase online in advance).

There are plenty of cubbies and lockers where you can stash your stuff.

For the little ones, there is a large, fully enclosed toddler court.

There are two enormous playscapes. The one toward the back is designated for kids ages 12 and under. It has slides, tunnels, moving obstacles and more throughout its three levels.

The playscape closer to the front has a built-in ball pit. It’s designated for kids ages 10 and under.

Another climbing structure with some unique slides.

I’ve never encountered this activity before. Your image shows up to the screen (see that teeny tiny Little Miss in the bottom right corner?)
And when you bounce in real life, you also bounce in the onscreen environment of your choice!

There is a challenging ninja course.

And multiple bouncy courts.

Bouncy Basketball Court
Slam Dunk Stations
Springy Soccer

A zipline for soaring over this foam pit.

And acres of trampolines!

This section of the park was not opening until 4:00pm on the day we visited (and we had to leave by 3:30), so we did not get to try out the sky rider, ropes course and climbing walls. But here are a few photos.

There are additional activities available for an extra fee, like bumper cars, virtual reality and arcade games.

Parents will appreciate all these comfy couches.

There’s also a picnic table area for snacking (or setting up with your laptop to get some work done while the kiddos play).

Little Miss gave this new adventure a big thumbs up (like way way jumping on a trampoline up!). I bet your kiddos will agree 🙂
