A few weeks ago we planned a family outing to Connecticut Golf Land. I’ve learned that no matter how old my boys get, they still won’t pass up a chance to do just about any activity that qualifies as competitive 🙂

Golf Land is located in Vernon, CT, and recently underwent a major renovation resulting in the Fossil Falls Miniature Golf Course and the Dig It excavator adventure (more on that later). New projects are in the works too–arcade and bumper boats coming soon!
From their website:
“For generations, Connecticut Golf Land has been a place where families, friends, and visitors have come together to enjoy a little friendly competition and make lasting memories.
Today, we’re building on that tradition with new experiences, refreshed attractions, and exciting additions designed to make every visit even more memorable. Whether you’re navigating the dinosaurs at Fossil Falls Mini Golf, enjoying a scoop at ConeHeads Creamery, or climbing into the cab of a real excavator at Dig It, Connecticut Golf Land is becoming a destination for fun, adventure, and family entertainment.”

Check out these pics from our visit!

The feature currently getting a lot of hype is their new Dig It excavator challenge, an area with 4 different challenges where adults and kids (over 54″ to ride alone) can operate a real piece of heavy machinery!

We didn’t have time to try out the new Dig It challenges on this visit, but check out this news video for a great look at this unique adventure!
Round out your visit with a couple of scoops from Cone Heads. There is a lovely outdoor seating area.

Be sure to check out their Facebook page for fall events!
