This playlist has been curated over many years of being the one in charge of Halloween tunes at various spooky get-togethers. I really think this list has it all– songs the kids will recognize, songs the parents will sing along to, and even songs that will bring the nostalgia for the grandparents! All these songs feature clean language (unless you count the word “hell” in I Put a Spell on You), no inappropriate references that your kids will ask you embarrassing questions about later, and nothing too frightening or creepy. However, if there are songs on this list that you are not familiar with, I would encourage you to quickly Google the lyrics just to be sure there is nothing that might be an issue for your family.
This playlist rounds out at about 1 hour and 15 minutes, making it the perfect pre-trick-or-treating soundtrack. I hope you enjoy these spooky tunes as much as my family does!
(I found all of these titles on Amazon Music, which is the platform we subscribe too, but I’m sure you can find most of them wherever you get your music.)
